GUESS THE GOLF BALLS & WIN

How Many Golf Balls Are in the Lake on The Brabazon Course at The Belfry?

The National Golf Club Challenge has teamed up with The Belfry and Sandals to offer one lucky winner a fantastic holiday to Emerald Bay, in the Bahamas. All you have to do is guess the number of golf balls in the lake that spans the 18th hole on the famous Brabazon Course at The Belfry.

Each entry will receive a £25 gift voucher to spend at Your Golf Travel.

The Lake on the 18th of the Famous Brabazon Course
Over 35,000 rounds per year are played on The Brabazon course at The Belfry. Although a number of golfers negotiate the hole without ‘getting wet’; there are many players that put 2 or 3 balls in the water trying to re-create some of the historic shots that have been played on the famous 18th hole over the years.

Legendary in the world of golf, The Brabazon's perilous bunkers and lakes have tested some of the greatest players including Seve Ballesteros, Tiger Woods and Nick Faldo.

But how many balls will be dredged from the lake?

The lake will be dredged by a dive team in the Spring of 2011. The event will be attended by sports celebrities and include TV coverage.

The funds raised by the sale of the recovered golf balls will be donated to Help for Heroes.
